Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of Sunny Oak Ridge Tree Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Services Provided

Sunny Oak Ridge Tree Service provides professional tree care services including but not limited to tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding and removal, emergency tree services, land and lot clearing, tree health and maintenance, arborist consulting, and shrub and hedge trimming. All services are performed by trained professionals using industry-standard equipment and safety practices.

Service estimates are provided based on site conditions at the time of inspection. Final costs may vary if conditions change or additional work is required. We will notify you of any significant changes before proceeding with additional work.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. A deposit may be required for large projects. Late payments may be subject to interest charges at the maximum rate allowed by Tennessee law.

If you dispute any charges, you must notify us in writing within 10 days of receiving your invoice. We will work with you to resolve any billing concerns promptly and fairly.

Scheduling and Cancellations

We make every effort to arrive at scheduled times, but weather conditions, equipment issues, or emergency calls may cause delays. We will notify you as soon as possible if we need to reschedule your service.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover our scheduling and preparation costs.

Property Access and Preparation

You are responsible for ensuring we have clear access to work areas and for marking any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other hidden obstacles. We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property, but we are not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities or obstacles.

Please remove vehicles, outdoor furniture, and other items from work areas before our arrival. Secure pets indoors during service. We recommend that you or a representative be present during service to answer questions and approve work.

Liability and Insurance

Sunny Oak Ridge Tree Service carries comprehensive liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. We are not responsible for damage to property caused by falling trees or branches that were not part of our work scope, or for pre-existing conditions that were not disclosed or discoverable during our inspection.

Tree work involves inherent risks. While we take every precaution to prevent damage, trees can behave unpredictably. We are not liable for damage caused by hidden defects, decay, or structural issues that were not visible or detectable during our assessment.

Warranty and Guarantees

We guarantee that all work will be performed in a professional manner according to industry standards. However, we cannot guarantee the survival or health of trees following pruning or other treatments, as many factors beyond our control affect tree health.

If you are not satisfied with our work, please notify us within 7 days of service completion. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns at no additional charge.

Emergency Services

Emergency tree services are provided on a best-effort basis. Response times may vary depending on weather conditions, crew availability, and the number of emergency calls. Emergency services may be subject to premium pricing due to after-hours work, hazardous conditions, or urgent response requirements.

Permits and Regulations

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for tree work on your property. We can advise you on permit requirements, but we do not guarantee that permits will be approved. Work will not begin until all required permits are obtained and fees are paid.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, in accordance with Tennessee law.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Sunny Oak Ridge Tree Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
